Construction Apprenticeships

Whether you want to build towers, tunnels or tables a Construction Apprenticeship could be for you.

This trade is founded on craftsmanship, so attention to detail and precision are must-have traits for success. Construction apprenticeship outcomes include:

  • Supervisory and team leadership roles with small, medium, and large construction and manufacturing companies
  • Operate as a sole trader in a trade specialisation such as a Carpenter, Plumber or Tiler
  • Progress to a small business owner and work on a range of private residential or commercial projects
  • Work with large public or private companies that require skilled tradespeople on staff to maintain large infrastructure and facilities
  • With further training, progress to more senior, specialist roles such as construction manager, contract administrator or in procurement

Construction apprenticeships typically take around 4 years to complete, depending on the trade specialisation and competency developed as part of your on-the-job training and study of a nationally accredited qualification.
