Apprenticeship Resources for Schools

MIGAS is well placed to help your students and school leavers find apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities.

We employ apprentices and place them with a host organisation. We work with household names across Australia like Shell's QGC Business, Origin Energy, Johnson Controls, BHP, Bengalla Mining Company, Jaybro, Roadtek, and more, as well as successful privately owned small and medium businesses.

As a community-focused not-for-profit organisation, MIGAS Apprentices & Trainees can help your students find meaningful career opportunities in full-time, paid trade apprenticeships once they leave high school, and part-time roles for school-based Australian Apprentices.

School Based Apprentices and Trainees

MIGAS partners with host companies to place school based apprentices and trainees, providing part-time opportunities for students in years 10,11 and 12 to complete a nationally recognised qualification and gain invaluable hands-on, paid work experience.

Australian School Based Apprenticeships are an ideal pathway to a full-time apprenticeship or traineeship.

MIGAS can help find a student in your school a pre-apprenticeship or school based apprenticeship one day per week. Contact us with your requirements.
