Why choose a Group Training Organisation to do your apprenticeship?
A Group Training Organisation (GTO) like MIGAS Apprentices & Trainees is a specialist employer of Australian Apprentices.
We work with businesses – called host companies – who want to take on an apprentice or trainee at their workplace and benefit from the services a GTO provides including specialised recruitment, weekly payroll and administration processing, and providing ongoing support and mentoring for the apprentice or trainee.
Working with a GTO means we will be your legal employer, and place you with an appropriate host company that will give you the best shot at completing your training.
If you need to gain varied experience (like residential vs commercial work as part of an electrician apprenticeship, for example), we can match you with different hosts. Or if the host company runs out of work or it’s not the right match, we get right onto finding you a new host employer.
This provides you peace of mind and takes away some of the hard work managing your own Australian Apprenticeship. Our job as a GTO is to support you through to the completion of your apprenticeship or traineeship.
That’s why GTOs typically have higher completion rates for Australian Apprenticeships, which is better for both apprentices and trainees, and the host companies.
